Durham County Stormwater participates in the annual Creek Week event as a time to discover and clean up our local streams. We partner with the City of Durham and Keep Durham Beautiful in activities and events throughout the week to engage our citizens in ways to protect and celebrate our environment. Durham Creek Week 2025 will be held March 15-22. As part of this year's Creek Week, a bingo card can be completed for a chance to win a prize. There are many events hosted by Durham County and other municipalities during Creek Week!

Durham County is also hosting a Storm Drain Art Competition! Please download the graphic below and send us your inspiration and design for storm drain artwork. One winning design may be chosen to paint on a drain on Durham County property this summer!
