Chair Howerton to Deliver 2023 State of the County Address on March 27

Annual presentation will take place during Board’s Regular Session meeting

Durham, N.C. – Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) Chair Brenda Howerton is scheduled to deliver the Annual Durham State of the County Address on Monday, March 27, 2023. She will highlight the achievements and challenges experienced over the past year and look forward to goals and priorities for Durham County Government in the next calendar year. Howerton’s presentation will take place during the BOCC’s Regular Session meeting, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

 

Howerton’s speech will be delivered in the Commissioners’ Chambers, located at 200 E. Main Street, in downtown Durham. The public is invited to the presentation in person, joining via Zoom, or watching on Durham County’s website or YouTube channel. Residents can also tune in on the Durham Television Network, Spectrum Channel 8. Replays of Regular Sessions are available on DTN, along with AT&T U-verse Channel 99, and Frontier Communications Channel 70.
