Durham, N.C. – The Durham County Criminal Justice Resource Center has released its Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Report. The report connects highlights from the past year with the theme “Staying Connected While Being Apart.”

“Although our doors were closed for the vast majority of the year, creativity and innovation by CJRC staff allowed us to remain connected to our clients, stakeholders and the community,” said CJRC Director Gudrun Parmer. “The report reflects on the work of various divisions and programs within the department during the pandemic and the valiant efforts of our employees.”

Among many other program areas covered, the report spotlights Diversion, Court and Detention Services, Reentry, as well Behavioral Health Treatment Services and Specialty Courts.

CJRC invites the public to review this year’s report displaying the department’s ability to maintain quality services for vulnerable and marginalized populations despite the dynamic changes of the last year.
