Durham County Proclaims a State of Emergency
Proclamation Effective Immediately

Durham, NC – As snow continues and road conditions worsen, Durham County Commission Chairman Michael D. Page has signed a proclamation placing Durham County under a state of emergency effective immediately. The emergency proclamation follows protocols stated in Durham County's Code of Ordinances. The proclamation states, "All persons within the County of Durham are asked to remain in a safe place and stay off highways and roads in order to allow highway clearing operations to take place."
