Veteran Services Office to Close for Training

Limited Services Offered on Location During Training

Durham, N.C. – Residents seeking veteran support services should note the temporary closing of the Durham County Veteran Services Office the week October 23 through October 27, 2017.  During that week, limited services will be available to veterans and their families as the County Veteran Services staff attend an annual accreditation training. The office will resume full services with normal business hours, at 8:30 a.m. on October 30th.

 

Veterans in need of immediate assistance with applying for Veterans Affairs Healthcare can contact the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, or by calling (919) 286-0411.

 

Assistance with filing a Compensation, Pension or other Veterans Affairs benefit claims are also available by calling the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Affairs Call Center at (800) 827-1000.
