Durham, NC – The Durham County Department of Social Services will close its offices for a staff meeting, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. All Durham County DSS staff members will attend this meeting. Normal hours for Durham County DSS will resume at 11:30 a.m.

Citizens should call 911 to reach an on-call social worker to report child/adult abuse or neglect during the office closing.
