Gun shop break-in under investigation

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Durham, NC - (Thursday, February 4, 2021) - Durham County Sheriff's Office investigators are releasing the attached photographs of the three (3) suspects in this morning's break-in at Drye's Gun Shop in Bahama. Additionally, we can report that the vehicle used to drive into the shop was stolen from "British 4x4" on Hillsborough Road in Durham earlier today at approximately 3:00 a.m. this morning. No weapons were stolen in the break-in and the stolen vehicle was left behind and recovered from the crime scene. This investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when it is available.

The following information was released at 11:41 am Thursday, February 4, 2021
This morning, Thursday, February 4, at approximately 5:15 a.m., deputies from the Durham County Sheriff's Office were called to 1425 Bahama Road in Bahama/Durham County for the report of a break-in at a gun shop at the location. Upon arrival, it was determined that multiple suspects had drivena stolen vehicle into the building to gain entry into the store. At this time, investigators from the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) are reviewing information from the incident. Further detailswill be released when they become available.
