Third Raid on same home in 2019 nets stolen guns, drugs, cash

Durham NC (December 6, 2019) - On the evening of Thursday, December 5th, investigators from the Sheriff's Anti-Crime and Narcotics Unit (SAC/Narc) served a search warrant at 721 Eva Street as part of an ongoing investigation into the narcotics trade in Durham County. This is the 3rd time in the past year that a warrant has been served at this address.There were 7 people on the property at the time deputies forced entry into the home, some hiding in various rooms.Drugs and guns and were found inside the home and in vehicles on the property.
After a search of the home and vehicles, five people were charged. Investigators recovered two stolen handguns and drugs including methadone, cocaine, marijuana as well as over$2,000 in US currency.
